Default 04 600 clutch carb?

Got a 600 SP that starts good but the clutch engages at about 1400rpm,however the quad doesnt really start to move until about 1900rpm.This causes the quad to feel like its jerky and unsmooth. how do I fix this? A clutch kit or just shift weights? Thanx

It sounds like your blet deflection and or alignment is off. You probably need to remove a washer or 2 internally from your secondary clutch. The best thing to do would be to get a service manual and clutch alignment tool and do it yourself. Over time we've seen the engines move around a little bit and cause this to happen. Have you replaced your belt lately?
