Hole in front cv boots.

I have descoverd a small but definate hole in my front 4wd cvboot. I dont wont water getting in the boot. So does anyone have a site were i can order a new one. Or do you have any cheap prices. Im also thinking of getting a better brush guard maybe oxlite. If you any other sugestions on boot guards and boots please post reply thanks for any info!!!!

The boots for the rear are about $9.00, but in previous forums, I had a rear changed at the dealership, costing labor mostly. Definitely either find a patch, or maybe GOOP to get you by, but don't leave a holy boot for long. You don't want to be replacing a cv joint, that will cost you much much more.

I've used clear or black RTV silicone. A small amount rubbed on with your finger, clean first with alcohol or acetone (fingernail polish remover). Rub the silicone into the hole or crack.
Let it cure.

You can buy a boot kit form the dealer for around $30 bucks. The boot is easy to change. It normally takes about 45 minutes to change.
