Default Battery Indicator - Please Advise

My Battery indicator on my 03 SP500 is reading '126.8' Is this normal or below normal. I am guessing it has something to do with how many volts are left or something. Could someone please advise. Thankyou.

ya your right, that wouldn't indicate voltage. I turn the key and thumb thru the different settings (Miles, Trip Odometer, etc) I come to the battery indicator and it reads 126.8, I will need to locate my manual and see what that battery code means. Going on a huge trip down towards chattacoochee this weekend and want to make sure it's in tip top shape so I don't get stuck.

I bet it has something to do with the percentage of charge remaining in the battery. I just need to find a chart to figure out what is normal, high, low etc.

I am a true fricken idiot. Sorry for wasting your time. I just went out there your right it's reading hours. I guess I will make sure the battery has enough water and roll with it. I am goin to some deep terrain (miles upon miles away from Civiliztion) this weekend in near Chattacoochee, TN and just would hate if that 03 battery took a shat on me. Sometimes the low indicator light will come on only when I try and start after it sits for a month or so. But just now when I am messing with it, doesn't give me any indication that it's low.

I appreciate everyone's help on this forum. Last weekend i gave the sp500 a complete full srevice from top to bottom and you guys coached me thru some hub issues I was having.

Thanks again,

10ptman
