Stumbled across this winch and was wondering has any one ever used one? Would be good for a plow?? Came across it on Rocky Mountian ATV and got curious about it. Tell me more about it.

I'd be interested to hear how it works. But with the prices of winches these days, would it even compare?

It'd get the job done, but for another $40 i went with the cheap Gorilla winch for my 4x4. that ratchet winch would get old after a few minutes, i'd much rather just push a button. Call me lazy i suppose lol

I saw a champion one today at sams club for the atv. $88...... Didnt look like it had any mounting stuff though.

I wouldnt use a rack mounted winch for anything more than securing the four wheeler down

looked to me like you hook it up to your racks. I bet your racks would come loose real fast...

Sounds good guys. I guess its not a good toy for quads. Just looking into it.

had a 2500lb winch mounted on the rack of a 01 Trailboss, it never bent a bit.
