delta v force reeds

ive got a new 00 scr 4x4 400. almost got the first tank of gas gone. wondering if put a set of these reeds and spacer kit would make any diff ?? do i have to chop the air box and re-jet or will the reed perform by thier self?? htanks polaris fans!!!!

I got a Delta V Force on my 98 400. I wasnt impressed at all. It will give you slightly better throttle response but that is about it. I dont have a spacer but I doubt that will do much either.

On the other hand, if you plan on getting a pipe, it would prolly help a lot more but for the stock pipe, it is a waste of money IMHO.

According to Rick Ritter, you dont need to rejet but he does recommend that you richen it up just a tad.

I installed my reeds and cage spacer after installing a RCR Stage 1 kit, and was very happy with the improvement in trottle responce. The front end wanted to lift and wheelie at over about 3/4 throttle.
As for a first modification, I would go for a pipe as the best " Bang for the Buck"
