The shipping was a set fee-i ordered 4 plugs from them. It was a 3-day express mail. Since local dealer didn't stock them, they gave me a line abut having to order a whole box (10) of each and wanted me to buy that many.

watzupdog,

I'll let you know how it does. It'll be a while before I have time to get it out.

The quad is hard to get to now (locked up in a shed) and my owners manual is with it. I'm interested to see what gap it calls out. Above I said .036 and then another site says .028. I will gap it to the specs. in the Polaris manual.

Just wanted to clarify that.

Lukester. Its a .036 gap. Until you get your hard copy heres one for a 2004. I couldnt find one for the 2003. Should be the same since they didnt change anything in 04.

watzupdog,

You're too good! A kind act from, a stranger none the less, has gone a long way to brighten what was otherwise a hard day.

Thank you

I ran them in my Sled this year, what a great plug. I wanted it because it needs less voltage to create a spark, and I like the fact that there will be less stress on the electrical system

i really doubt it work that great on the 400 2 stroke motor at least you're in the state of the art jetting conditions and porting.
it sure fire more precise but it doesn't fullfill the full top of the piston combustion like a standard br8es plug.

Lukester,

Polaris's online Trail Boss 330 2003 Owner's Manual Supplement Sheet P/N 9918248 Rev 01 4/02 quotes following: BKR6E gapped to .036 in/.9mm

Hope this helps!

Did you notice any change in fuel economy with the iridium plug?

Do you know if on the 500EFI you would require any changes to the delivery system? I doubt it, but never hurts to ask!!

Thanks for the info!!

ThumperDriver,

Why do you put Marvel Mystery Oil added to gas?

I cant tell yah if the fuel economy is any better because I dont have a odometer on my trailblazer. But it does run much better and changed the engine sound to a deeper sound.
I didnt have to change any setting, and have had the same plug in it for 2 years where as with the regular ones I was changing them out alot due to my wifes non aggresive riding. She just cruzes at slow speeds for an hr or so thus fouling the plug. Now with the IRIDIUM it want foul... There great little plugs. Well worth the extra couple of bucks.
