Default Starting Trouble

I have a Polaris 500 that my children left the key on and the battery was low, so of course, it wouldn't start.
Charged the battery and it started one time. The next time is just makes a clunking noise when you hit the start button. Made sure was in nuetral and even tried rolling forward and backwards to move whatever, blond thing.......................The sound is Loud....................not small like a click when the battery is dead. And the pull starter will not come out either.
Is this a starter problem? or a flywheel engine problem. I'm going to take it to be fixed if heavy duty, otherwise will change the starter myself.

Help is always appreciated.

Default Starting Trouble

start w/ the starter. it maybe got stuck while engaging the fly wheel. pull it off then try pulling the cord w/ the starter (key) off to see if its free.

Thanks for the advice my friend,
Hopefully we will be rolling soon again!
I will try taking the starter off and trying the pull cord as well as checking to see if the gear thing is stuck out of the starter.

Hope to meat with success.
