Default 2006 Sportsman 500 brush guard

I bought a 2006 Sportsman 500 HO last week. I want to add a brush guard but am having a hard time finding one except the one from Polaris. I'd like more than one to pick from. Am I looking in the wrong place or am I going to have to settle for the factory one. Thanks.

Dan

Welcome to the Connection piratecountry. The Polaris Brush guard is worth the money believe me. Besides I haven't seen an after market one.....

i have yet to see a better aftermarket brushguard for any polaris machines, i would go with the polaris brushguard if i were to buy one, instead of making my own.

My 800EFI has a screen over the radiator, but I didn't feel it offered enough protection. I got a radiator guard from http://jamhard.com/ which installs in addition to the factory plastic screen. I didn't feel the need for any additional protection.

Pure Polaris offers two different styles for your model, one style considerably less $$ than the other. I went with the higher cost set-up in order to protect the dual exhausts plus I thought it complimented my model better than the other. Both versions are very tough and worth the $$$$ IMO. Have you tried EBAY????

Try www.motoalliance.com They make Viper Bumpers. They copied the Polaris brushguard and made it better. It's also made in the US. I bought one for my 2004.5 500HO and it was perfect. They also have 2006. Check them out...
