Default predator trouble

I left a predator 90 unused for 1 year and the oil had been drained and gas, long story short i refilled it with gas, oil and it started fine after i unblocked the carbarator because gas was pouring out underneath. But it only ran as long as the choke is on full. Only problem is if i give it to much throttle it cuts out and if i go below half choke it cuts out. When i try to go forward in full choke you get 3 feet and it stops. Any one got any ideas whats wrong with it.

Default predator trouble

It is a classic example of plugged main jet. If you pull the carb, then remove the bowl off the bottom of the carb you will find the float along with the needle, (it looks like a micro rocket) and the main jet . Remove the main jet and look through it , the orafice is verry small and it doesnt take much to plug it. Try pushing a very fine wire through it and blowing through it , it should clear out. then reasemble and enjoy your ride. One other thing, when you drained the gas , did you drain what was in the carb also? If not you may have to take the carb completly apart and soak it. You can buy the carb soak at napa , it comes in a one gallon can and has a basket to put your parts in. Hope this helps!
