Default I finally bought my X2!!!

Hey guys, Well I finally got momma to sign the papers for the X2. We will take delivery of it tomorrow. I just can't wait. As soon as I get to ride it, I will let you know of my first impressions.

Congrats, my wife and I love ours. I have been cutting alot of trees and have been using it to pull logs, as a mobile work bench, and to haul out cut wood. I have no complaints so far. I will be looking for your review. Thanks.

We are still loving ours also ... finally finished the winch install last night and it is working great ... also, as an update (will also post in the other X2 thread) I called our Polaris dealer yesterday about the rear seat rattle and not fully engaging issue and they are still working on a resolving fix and nothing has been released yet. What we do is put a small sponge on the top part of the seat handle when in "one-up" to keep it from rattling. We still have not had any problems when in the "two-up" position. I am absolutely loving the quad.

There is a fix for the seat just don't know if they officially released it yet. They replace the strap with a rubber snubber. I will see if i can find out more.

Yea ... I did see that at the dealer the other day ... not even worth wasting your time ... It does nothing and they know it. Still work in progress.

Just bought our X2 also, and love the 150 miles we have on it so far. The only problem we have experienced is with the 2 up seating. We have it in the shop now trying to resolve the rattlling, the one up seat that doesn't lock, and never did, and the plastic parts under the backrest of the two up seat that jumps out of their intended space, and then you can't get the seat to set into it's position when putting it back to one up. Hopefully they will fix the problems and we can continue to enjoy the great outdoors! Happy Trails to you!

I have the rubber snubber on my X2 and it doesn't work. I put a piece of rubber under the seat handle and it works great, no more rattle. Try this. I'm sure it will work for you too.

There is a new service bulletin for it now. It is a slider kit. Have your dealer call Polaris.

I have one of each- great machines. One with plastic loop and one with rubber strap. Like the rubber snubber better. Did have a hard time getting the second seat to drop after a dusty trip on "old style". Rinsed it down and it dropped. Interested in learning if there is a recall on version 1 (old style).

I am going to stop by the dealer when we get home from Myrtle Beach this week ... woohooo ... Maybe the "new" fix will get installed before we leave to go to H-M trails next month.
