What sports atv should I buy.

Depending on what you ride, I would wait for everyone to get out with sports machine (suzuki, kawasaki, honda -with a real PERFORMANCE machine-, polaris -with a real chassis-, Cannondale, GasGas(?), Husaberg(?), ATK(?)).
Seeing how much Raptors have been sold (and are being sold), I'd bet that ALL manufacturers are gonna come out with REAL sports machines.

That's what the fabled 700 twin will become. The new hot-rod of ATVs. I know this because Elvis told me so just before he got back in the UFO.
I hear you. They make a lot of 'useful' machines, and even some 'fun' ones, but not a 'real fast' one. I can't see why they don't at least try, they make some of the sportiest snow sleds out there.

no offense taken. Scramblers are in a class of there own if you ask me ,kind of a hybrid machine. Nope not going to take one of them at the track, but add some mud some rocks and roots nasty off camber rutted up muddy hills, maybe some snow for good measure and I would put my money on a Scrambler 4x4 over any true sport machine. right now I would buy a Raptor they look great sound cool and are very fast. they will beat anything out there right now in speed. Saw that with my own eyes at a local race, nothing touched it in the 500 foot drag. the 400EX's, the DS 650's, the Banshees, the 250r's they all lost to it. There was one Raptor and 3 or 4 of each of the others he took all of them. He wheelied every time though taking off, if he hooked up it would have been humilating for the others. no one was ever closer than 3 quad lengths at the end. The 400EX is way over blown when it comes to performance , my god my friends 1996 400 xpress took the 400EX's everytime. for such a great machine you would think a 1996 Polaris Xpress with 3500 miles on it, would not have a chance. He won by 3 or 4 quads lengths everytime in 500 feet.
