Default tire tubes

Any of you guys running tubes in your tires? My Mud Lites have a few holes in them and I tried to plug them, but it didn't work. I tried to patch them from the inside, and it still didn't work. I tried slime, still leaked. The only thing I can do now is put tubes in them. The tires are practically new, so i dont want to buy new tires.

must be big holes if slime isnt even working. i've never heard tell of the new ones having tubes but the older models like big reds ran tubes i think. try a search on tire tubes and see if there has been a post on it.

yeah tubes should be fine.... my brother has a new YFZ450 with a tube in one tire cause of a bad leak.... also i have a tube in one of my tires.... brand new ITP's that got a sidewall hole.... seems to work fine for us. the only thing that you might notice is that if you do it to only one tire then the balance of the quad will be off a little... but i haven't noticed it at all. good luck

Make sure you clean all the slime out of the tire and try to get the inside as smooth as possible or you will wear through the tube quickly. Going to be hard to work with on the trail if they go flat-you will have to break them down to get the tube out. There is no reason to put them in all the tires-there will be no balance issues if the air pressure is the same. I have lots of experience with tubes since I manage a Goodyear tire store and we do lots of agriculture/farm tubed tires.
