Default Call me a dumba**, but please xplain these mods

OK, I am new to this forum and have been looking around it with great interest...seems like a great place to hang out. Anyway I see a lot of mods listed on some of thes quads and a couple I need explained a little are:

1. 3-light conversion - I assume this is having all 3 lights on at once.

2. Override conversion - I assume that this is taking the function of the override switch out of the loop. If so...how do you do it. It totally ticks me off when I am stuck trying to push the beast backwards out of a hole or snowbank and I am trying to push, work the throttle while at the same time holding in on this silly little switch. I understand why it is there but if there is a way to get around it please let me know.

Thanks.

DUMBASS hey you said too

3 light is having your two lower lights and your handle bar light on at same time

The overide is essentially getting rid of the override button making it thing its always pushed

our sp500 the override button broke on its own so it just always hauls *** in reverse.

Dumbass!! Eh, I'am not one to call someone a Dumass, but you asked for it.

OFC summed it up pretty good.

Ok.. I am going to jump on the bandwagon....

DUMBASS..

Could not resist, and you asked us to call you that!!!

Welcome to the forums. Watch and learn man, there are alot of people here with a vast knowledge of ATV's. It is amazing..

Reverse override.. Heard of people taking a zip tie and zip tie'ing the button shut, therefore turning the override on 100% of the time.

Dumass calling someone a dumbass? Is that redundant?

Well, as Red Forman would say, "You're a dumbass!"

Think everyone else had you covered on the mods.

Sean, I have both from the manufacturer in the link and both are high quality. I used the "easy" installation and put some liquid electrical tape on the connections. Both work as advertised. The reverse override was a life changing experience. Some guys were digging on anyone who paid for the mods and didn't build their own. I didn't want to take the chance on inferior parts and for the price, you can install both in about ten minutes. The convenience is well worth the money.
