Default $@*&%! Warning Stickers!!

Hi Guys.... Nice board!

I just traded again, this time up to a camo 800 and for the third time, am faced with having to remove the warning stickers that we all know, have to go. I've always used the razor blade trick to get them off but as we all know that takes forever. Anyone have any better technique?

Welcome to the forum DLO, I always peel them off and then use carb cleaner to get rid of the glue.

My oldest kid took mine off with the pressure washer...she was quite proud of herself - and so she should have been at age 4. Needless to say she was not left unattended with the pressure washer powered up again.

Squeege,

Yes, I did trade in. I have taken them off of every thing I have ever owned and traded the stickerless machines in. I have never heard of the stickers being worth anything on trade value. ...not that it may not be true, but it kinda sounds like your dealer was looking for reasons to give less for a machine.

They should just sell matching covers for these idiot stickers anyhow my .02

Yah..the dealer sucks for trade in...but the salesman was going to give me a # for a guy who would give top dollar for my machine....I'm just not ready to trade up yet.

A tech that did my delivery at the dealer I got my bike from races and he said use a heat gun on low or a hairdryer and they come right off. I got a heat gun yesterday and will give it a try later today.

I have used a heat gun also. Are you aware it voids the warranty?

I had no clue removing the decals would void the warranty. On the other hand I can't see how it can since they can fall off. I know Polaris offers a free sticker replacement service.
