Default F.I. or not

Hello all, I'm going in on monday to buy a new Sportsman 500. My question to all of you is, is the it worth the money to get the fuel injected model? Is the power increased that much? Thanks for any input in advance.

At my dealer the EFI model is only 300 more than the non-efi. I don't know if there's any difference at all in the power since this is my first ever polaris ATV, but some say that the throttle response is crisper on the EFI, again .. can't comment.

What I do know is that it performs very well for me and I couldn't be more pleased with the quad. I have the 06 500EFI LE model (Red Flame) and love it. Another plus on the EFI is the ease of starting ... no choke to pull or warmup time really .. just turn the key, wait for the injector to prime (about 2 seconds), turn the key, shuff it in gear and go.

I JUST GOT AN 800 EFI AND I TELL YA, THE THROTTLE IS INSTANT, WHERE AS ON A CARB MODEL YOU HAVE THAT LITTLE HESITATION. THE ONLY THING YOU CAN DO IS RIDE EACH ONE AND CHOOSE THE ONE YOU LIKE BEST. GOOD LUCK!!!

The plastics are painted and baked according to the dealer. The flames are decals. The color is a deep red metallic .. very sharp looking, like the Grizz LE in red .. too nice to take offroad .. but I do
