Default Scram 500 *** end.....

My 2001 Scram 500 2x4 doesnt sag in the rear with no one on it, but it takes almost no pressure to put it way down. Also, if im sitting down, going up an incline and turning, it feels as if the front end is light. Im about 200 lbs, so I dont think its me sagging it. Is something wrong or is the rear shock beat due to the possibility that the woman who owned it before me is a beast of a woman? Might be a stupid question, but Im new to this, so help me out.

The long travel scramblers are known for having to much sag, your shock might need to be rebuilt but chances are it probably needs either a stiffer spring set-up or different valving. If you want full travel all of the tiem it can be done, but your machine will not handle very good at all.

Thanks for the info............Would tightening the adjuster at the bottom of the spring help or no? I dont get real hardcore when it comes to offroading, just play around on it mostly, so I wouldnt need extreme travel on the shock.

Yes tightening up your adjuster will help, it will make the start rate of the spring stiffer.
