i just bought an 01 trailblazer for my gf. i havent looked at the belt yet. how do you know when to change the belt?? also with me riding it, i weigh 220, about how fast will this thing go? is 45ish wfo on a slight down hill sound right? one more thing i cant seem to figure out. when i bought it a couple days ago it starts fine, but after it runs for a while it stalls. so i looked in the gas tank. there were rocks, gum wrappers in it. but anyways so i cleaned the tank out twice, cleaned the fuel petcock screens twice. now it runs much better, however it still stalls with a FULL to 3/4 tank of fuel. but when it starts to die, i unscrew the gas cap while im moving, and it corrects the problem. this only happens when the tank is between 3/4 and FULL. any suggestions as to whats wrong?? i think it has something to do with the breather hose, which i checked and blew through it. it wasnt plugged. help please

 

it shouldnt make any diff. wheather you have a empty or full tank as long as your vents hoses arent blocked and are ran properly. make time for new fuel filter aas well a carb cleaning when you said their was trash in the tank. when it stalls, does it flood out, is the plug all wet maybe float is sticking a little.

 

Your vent line is picnched.Check under the tank cover.

 

45 ish on a stoke 250 trailblazer sounds about right ....
