Predator Suspension ANYONE!?!
#1
Hey guys,
So now that Nemisis is running great i've been enjoying myself on a friends practice track on weekends. I weigh 196lbs and am a little over 6 feet tall. I have some questions about dialing in the fox podiums for my body-weight and riding style.
1) if i'm using up quite a bit of my my suspension travel, what should i change first? Preload or compression dampenning? My preload right now is about zero, and i imagine i need some more...
2) on the Fox Podiums, do you turn the adjuster out to increase compression? this seemed to be the case in the little experimenting i did.
3) in what situation would you want to adjust rebound dampenning? and how is that done on the Podiums? i see the screw to do it on the rear one, but not on the front one...
4) finally, as a track gets more wooped out, towards the end of a 12+ hr day of riding on it, what adjustments should i be making to make acceleration across these woops easier on me?
Any other suspension tuning tips would be very welcome here! i've never messed with this stuff before, and have a lot of theories, but no real experience... Thanks as always!

for me i softend the rear 3 clicks and the front 2 from stock settings, its worked perfect for all kinds of riding, however for big air jumping i think i might want to raise them a click each so as to not bottom out as fast.
by the way, im 5'11 and 165 pounds
