Lets do it again and see how many people we can get on it. LOL... Actually we should start talking about the totaly new KTM/Polaris 450 4x4... You know we know "that guy" that works for Polaris LOL and he let us in on the new 07 etc etc etc... We can start a new post and back each other up. Oh and dont forget about the all new race ready 70cc youth model. I saw a picture of it and it rocks... LOL... I wonder how many people would say they heard about it too.

I see where a lot of you are coming from. Polaris on some models like the Scrambler, Trailboss, etc just likes to give us "bold new graphics" year after year. While a lighter sportsman is exactly what Polaris needs, I highly doubt they will be able to shave enough dead weight. Even if polaris lightens them up, you probably won't be able to feel a difference when it comes to these 700lb+. atvs. Polaris needs to learn how to use aluminum effectively(cost vs. weight savings) instead of using the concept of just adding cubic centimeters to make up for increased weight. My dream for the 07s is the SPs being lightened by 50lbs, given larger gas tanks, stronger boots being used, the Preddy getting the KTM 450 powerplant, the Outlaw getting some updates, and the Scrammy getting high/low range, a tweaked suspension, and a new frame for better handling and less weight. I also think a larger scrambler should be added to the stable. Polaris also needs to learn that sticking small engines in full-size frames severly cuts back on the quad's performance(can you say Trailblazer, Magnum, Trailboss?). I am just praying this is indeed Polaris's mechanical design year. We all know of the models that are long in the tooth.

I heard a rumor ont somethings going to be faster than the YFZ450...And that is thee fastest production quad built to date BTW, i own a 04' with an 06' crank...and the rest is completely stock. I simply CRUSH my buddies Honda TRX 450 R before i had the 06 crank, and his has a full exhaust, jetted, and K@N air intake with no lid...Hell i didnt even take my airbox lid off...titanium valves and 11 to 1 compression has its advantages when u have a 12,000rpm redline STOCK
