I disagree. it is the only platformof theirs left in need of an update. I would bet it is either redone or dropped for 07. Although an outlaw 4x4 would kick some major a$$.

I don't need any changes to the sportsman 800, I'm very happy with it. I like to see a new from the ground up scrambler 700. I would like to see a bigger predator with a tougher tranny. Or even a 800 scrambler.

Polariseater, I agree with you that the weight of the Polariss' hurts them, but how would they possibly lighten them up by 100lbs. I would love to see Polaris use aluminum extensively throughout their atvs, but I doubt that would take off as much as 100lbs. I don't know if Polaris could shave that much weight off without resorting to cheap a$$ plastic skidplates and onion skin tires.

the predator's frame is PHENOMINAL, and handles beautifully... therefor, using something very similar for their next gen Automatic sport quads in both 4x4 and 2x4 configurations would be the best way to go. If they could somehow mate the pred motor to an Automatic, a 2x4 version of this would be AWESOME on the trails!

lighter sportsman would be nice for sport riding... but other than that the current design is great... Scrammy does need redone tho... also, i think we need a 525 pred and a 450 pred. That would finally make dirtwheels shut up since everyone knows that all any sport riders does with their quad is race motocross professionally at the national level. (re-read that sentence... heavier sarcasm this time).

one way or another '07 will be a great year!

the frame is phenomenal but it need to be a 499 power valved 2 stroke with EFI in it,and now we will talk about power and handling, there is a lot of cool zilla video down here to remember what a powerful racer was use to be...hail the lt 500 again!
predator is an happy prey for a t-rex.

if its the last year for the 500 H.O. then the Scrambler will ultimately have EFI, or a fully replaced motor. I've heard rumors of an sportsman 850 and a 750 H.O.
