Default Predator performance, whats next?

I have a 2006 troy lee edition predaor with HPD cams, Vortec rev box, Rath racing head pipe, white brother exhaust and I want more power at top end but i dont want to lose any in the bottom range. Is there anything I can do. I have heard people say that a carb makes a bid diff. on these bikes, is this true? What about 114 octane fuel with my rev box set on high octane. Thanks in advance.

Advancing the timing will not make 114 octane work any better. You ned a high comp. piston along with that.

A Honda 450r carb does the trick..however I think there is a throttle cable issue.

Also might want to look inot a Honda Civic intake..you can find endless info at predatorowners.com

What about any aftermarket carbs. I am runing 93 octane now and i waws wondeing if the 114 would do better. I got pretty good low end though so even if i do any more will my high end get better if the sprockets are stock

the nicholas cycle racing carb is fantastic it will do wonders for your set up, as far as your exhuast goes i would reccomend putting a high flow turn-down tip on, like i have on my predator. i have an 06 LE and with a round K&N filter clamped onto the carburator and then the high flow tip, im running a 175 main about 1500 feet above sea level.

when you wake these preds up, they fly
