I just went for my first long ride with my 06 500 efi and got 145 km before the fuel light went on. I did some trail ridding and major mud. I'm very impressed. My old 04.5 700 carb got 90 km max riding trails only. It is six monts old now and broken in well. I was not getting too good new. Ah well I just thought someone might want to know.

I figure mine will get around 120km/tank .. based on my fuel-ups so far which consists of bumpy trail riding, slow climbing/crawling and mud. I'm usually around the 60km mark when I fill up, and she ususally takes around 8litres .. which is a touch more than 1/2 the tank capacity of 15.6litres.

I had hoped for better mileage out of this (considering my father's 98 transport 440 snowmobile gets around 20mpg) but ahh well .. it's a hoot to ride.
