I like my bike good for the money but why does it seem like this bike jhust dont hold up I am running an 05 trailboss. First thing the head seal went bad after about 3 months, then jumped about 3 feet in the air and the weld on one of the footwell pegs copming from the frame broke. and last weekend my whole thumb throttle broke clean off. Now I am riding with my buddies kawasaki 400 and yamaha grizzly and I do not think I am running my bike as hard or near as hard as they are. did I get a lemon or what. And by the way the only thing that is covered under the warranty is the head gasket go figure. Now I am stuck with a broke footwell broke throttle and by the footwell breaking the plastic broke also. not too happy paying for the extyrta warranty and not getting anything covered. Shoudl these thing be covered?

I hate to hear about your trouble. Seems uncommon to me. I think that a good dealer would find a way to help you out. My dealer has found a way around several little problems for me and several other guys that I know who go in there. Is there another dealer that you can try? I had a master cylinder that kept leaking and had it replaced under the extended warranty. Was supposed to have a $50 deductible and my dealer got it replaced for zero cost to me. I am unsure about what should be covered for sure. Do you ride pretty hard?

Your problems dont seem normal.
How big and how old are you?I am a good size guy and have never broken a footboard on any of my Polaris atvs.Never broke a throttle either and we ride them real hard. Our Trailboss has give no problems at all other than being underpowered but that was cured.
The TB doesnt have the best rear suspension but a 3ft jump shouldnt have hurt it as long as it wasnt over and over.
