bearing removal ?
#1
Hi all, I just bought 93 trailboss 350L 4X4 for the wife. Chain was ratcheting last weekend, so I tightened it a bit. Went riding the next day and it was fine until it began ratcheting again. This time the ratcheting sounded different and it would happen at full throttle at around 10-20 mph. Wouldn't do it on takeoff. The tension looked good, the rear sprocket and the chain looked good as well. One thing I should mention is that it when changing from neutral to reverse or high, it would grind from time to time. I'm assuming the front sprocket is pooched. It doesn't look that bad for wear but I decided to change it anyways. At first it looks like a simple job but I'm not sure of how to remove that bearing on the shaft. I can't see any clips or anything to remove this bearing so I can replace that front sprocket. Do I need a puller or something? Thanks for any info
