You can run pump gas. It is not recommended to run higher octane gas unless you raise the compression. If you dont touch compression there is no need to run high octane.

you need to talk to denis when you do it an see what he can do that is the best ifo I can give you. An I belive it can be setup to run 92. I have mine made for MX racing so run 110. Im also running an 34mm carb off a polaris 400 engine the 2 stroke

250 Power Mod Kit: $525.00
This kit will really wake up that 250. Kit includes:
Trail Porting
Stock Banshee Reed Cage
Carb Boot (Manifold)
Milled Head
Wiseco Piston
Race Porting - Add $150.00

Man the things ill do to prove to people at school that polaris is the way to go! so maybe in 2-4 months ill have the $$ or maybe ill save till winter and get even more stuff! if thers anyting else that can be done lol

personally I would wait on the v-force reeds. i bought them for my 400 and they didn;t do didly in my opinion and can easily be added latter. money would be better used towards a carb like a used or new 34mm.

most likely the case has to be machined for the crank. atleast for the 400 he has too. keep in mind that means new bearings and seals for the bottom end as well. the plus side is you will have one whole fresh motor when all is said and done and should have atleast a year of no wear items.

Gurney-
I think you'd be safer removing the oil injection from the machine. I know with the 400's, it is recommended to switch to premix once you get over 50 hp. That is basically a pipe and porting on the 400's. Also, It is always wise to budget a few hundred bucks when building an engine. There are always small odds and ends that you don't think about until you get to them. Have fun with the machine!

BTW, strokers rock! I'm building one for my Jeep that should be kick a$$ when it's running.
