Well, i also think it depends on if you're a Junior or a Senior. Because if you're a Junior, its not that big of a deal, but if you're a Senior, its nice to expierence the whole "prom" expeirence, even if you dont get laid. And yes, someone stated it earlier, PROM IS DEFINATLY for girls. They get so excited to put on their dresses, all their makeup, spend the money for that nice limo (some of them) and i guess you can say, its like their first formal BIG thing. While guys have the attitude, yeah i guess ill go, then head to the after party and try to get lucky. I just went to a High School prom, so yeah, it was pretty fun, but its seriously for girls. And its not that big of a deal if you go or not. Its not like you're going to regret it THAT much anyway. Good luck with you're decision.
