I broke my new Predator 500 in today....literally!!!

If it was 10 yards long....I think I could have coasted up the hill in neutral with a good rolling start. It's gotta be at least 80 to 90 yards long. After I fix the bike and go back up the hill...I will measure it no doubt.

Got the bike stripped down....just waiting on some replacement parts now. I posted pics of the steering stem and the bike broken down. I can definitely have this step straightened and keep it as a spare.

The wine is more than likley the engine break, which is nice most of the time, but other times a real nuisance! (not sure if Predator has engine break) I rolled my Dads Kodiak when it was 3 months old, going down a steep hill, i hit a small drop off, and end over end it went and that left my wallet a little lighter than i would have liked!

dude man ive been up them hills at hungry valley many times... and them are some very extreme verticals. as you drive into hungry valley with your vehicle them hills are on your right hand side. what you think huh? 75 to 100 yards long with a 5 to 10 degree vertical? dude man you stall on one of them or spin the tires and newton law will take effect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! many people dont make it up them verticals. they are dangerous!!!!!!!!!!!

gee dude thats a bummer! the back side of that hill is even way more dangerous. for the stem get a sledge hammer and pound it back into correct position. use the saved money for the new running switch you need and probably the brake assembly resivoir and lever. or new plastics.

As heatseeker mentioned, I'd jump onto Predator Owners and check out what parts are for sale there. I think you can probably find most of what you need there and the folks are always helpful. Just don't go undercutting me on the stuff I'm trying to get...LOL
