Someone by you must be hard up to steel 4.5 gal of go juice from your bike. Get a locking cover or lock it in a shed or your garage.

I for one would like to see locking gas caps for my 2 wheelers (in chrome) not because of gas theft but because of I would like the protection against someone putting something into the gas tank that could damage the engine.

I wouldn't put one on, too easy for someone to cut the fuel line and let the gas drain out that way.

Never thought about someone putting something in the tank.

But if you're wanting it because someone is taking the gas, I'd be more worried about them taking the whole thing, not just the gas.

That's a reasonable request....

There are alot of people out there with maliciouse intent on the brain. There are several possible reasons for this, jelousy for one. This could form in anyone.

I'me not concerned with gas leaving the tank,,as in 26 gal. in my truck,,but I leave my machine 300 miles away,in the woods. It's locked up but I would feel better knowing my fuel tank can't be tampered with.Unlike a regular cap, like on my truck though polaris caps have a female threaded cap,and I've never seen a locking cap with female threads.
