There was a rumor going around about some new colors for the Scrambler plastics.... A Pewter/Silver and or a Yellow???.... (I assume the yellow is the old Sport 400 Yellow.. but the SILVER would be COOL...)
Fact or Fiction... ???....

The yellow ones are out already, and look dull compared to the sportsman yellow, and have a black seat and nose peice, and fancy flame stickers. Looks awesome, I think. I heard something about the silver color too, but have yet to see one.

In the new polaris brochure(the thick one), they have plastic listed for the gen II(trailboss), III(scrambler), and IV(sportsman), and they have gray plastic for gen III, which is the scrambler. Now whether this is a misprint or not, I dunno, it might supposed to be replacement plastic for the sportsman, or it really could be for the scrambler. Run down to the dealer and get the big polaris catalog.

Robert,

Polaris list a complete fender kit (front, rear, & nose) for the Scrambler in yellow and silver. I don't know what color the nose pieces are on either one. I haven't seen the silver in person yet. Like someone else said, the yellow is lighter than a Sportsman or Sport.

I bought a 2001 yellow scrambler 500 it's the same yellow as a 96 sport 400. At the same time I ordered a yellow nose piece to replace the black one that came with the bike,However the nose piece that arrived is the same yellow as my 2000 sportsman 500.

For $249.99, you can get silver or yellow fenders, 'cept neither kit comes with the "scrambler" stickers. That's another good reason to get that flame sticker kit.

Polaris should have the Sportsmen and Magnums in a solid black! That would be sweet!

I take it the the color options are in the printed catalog, as I haven't found them on the Polaris web site. Are there any photos online?
