People tell me that the 27inch tire is about 26 and 1/8 of an inch tall so does that mean i can put 27 inch tires on my xpedtion and not have any fender rub

P.s. if the 27 inch tires are 26inch tall does that mean the 26inch tall tires are 25 inches

Thanks for any info

i have no personal experience with any of those tires..ive been looking for tires for a while now..i looked at 589,mud bugs, outlaws, goodyear m/r`s,lots of different tires..i liked what i heard about the bi-tri claws and just actually ordered them,i heard there better than the older claws for ride an such..any of these tires will do good as a mudder and good on hard pack..i started getting headaches looking at all the different types and thought these were best for me..i narrowed it down to 2 tires the bi-tri claws and the mud bugs, both offer 27 inch with side wall cleats, something 589 and m/rs dont,i didnt think too much about the outlaws ,tsl`s or the strictly mud tires as i felt they would be too much for hard pack riding which i do my share of..good luck with whatever you choose its agravating trying to choose..im glad i finally decided and now i cant wait to get them and try them out
