Default Cracked Side Cover

Hey guys i cracked my side cover on my bike in half.... its almost a perfect crack to line up do you guys think JB weld would hold it together otherwise im lookin at 150 bucks down the drain

Yeah, You could do this: Make a little "V" along the crack, Get some 5 minute plastic weld (from TSC) and mix it up as directed. Push the the weld into the crack and smooth it over nicely, when it drys ( in 5 minutes, actually about 3.5 minutes, this stuff is quick) you can "overspray" with spray paint and depending on the location, it will blend in nicely. I did this on my front bumper, 2 pieces were completely busted out, and I was amazed at how well it looked. The longevity should be ok. If it messes up you are only out about $5 trying this method, give it a shot.

When you say side cover. You mean clutch or the side panels.

i reinstalled the cover the JB weld seems to hold strong... no light can be seen through the crack so hopefully everything will hold up

It would not hurt to spead some sealer on the inside for water proofing.
