Default HELP! Scrambler coil, Is there a ground wire?

Put everything engine wise back on my 98 400 scrambler, Hasnt ran in about 4-5 years because it blew up and guy never did anything with it. I had it bored and I have no spark. Someone took the coil to it(one the guys friends friend) about 2 weeks before he sold it to me, The owner said he needed it back, I put it on and I dont have anyspark, im thinking he gave me his coil which was probably bad. I look on my 01 sportsman and it has a ground wire going to the coil from the wiring, So does my warrior and i think my 05 sportsman does too. A picture of the coil would be great if there is a ground wire, and to show were it goes. It looks like there may have been a wire that hooks to the wiring plug ins in the front. Any help would be most apreciated. If you want to send me a pic to my email it is bjrjr16@hotmail.com . Thanks, Brian
