Anyone had any problem with the fuel guage reading 3/4 full then suddenly read 1/4 and staying there? A friend of mine has that problem .

 

My fuel gauge reads like an hour glass. It takes quite awhile to move off of full but once it does, it doesn't take long to go to 1-2 bars. Then it takes awhile to go empty. Sounds like this is what you friend is dealing with.
