The clutch kit will give me more power? Sounds about right.

Is there anything small that I can look at BEFORE I pull the tranny apart that might be the cause of these issues?

And where can I get the transmission rebuild kits? Any good and reliable place online that has decent deals?

You can only get parts from Polaris. I would look at ebay to find a good used tranny then just get a new silent chain and replace it. It will be much cheaper to buy a whole used tranny then to piece all the parts together.

So I could get a new tranny, put the upgraded parts in it, and then put the 'new' one in? That seems easy enough..

What are the parts that I'll need to get this sucker working again?

What's a silent chain do inside the tranny?

And does the tensioner all debris to enter it from the bottom? And I'm also guessing the tensioner and chain bender are the same thing?

What is the purpose of putting them on? I noticed that putting the right amount of tension on the chain in N isn't the same as the forward and reverse. Do the tensioners solve this problem?

Sorry I'm complicated, but this is something that I'd love to get into more...
