how fast is your 500 Ho?
#11
I have gotten the X2 up to 95km/h ( 59mph ) on a long slight downhill with the rev-limiter engaging at 7000 rpm. (GPS verified)
On a flat surface it will usually only get 6800rpms and around 56mph. The X2 has lighter 25" tires on it than the regular Sportsmans.

My 500HO Scrambler tops out in the 65 mph range +- a couple but turns 6750rpms and gets there in nothing flat.

Just a little under 60 on the speedo on a fairly smooth gravel road. So just under 60 could be anywhere between 56 & 59. Bike is fully decked with bumpers, rack extenders, fender protectors, footpegs, winch, fairing & seat plus rider needs to go on a weight loss program. Bike is 05 HO & does have a K&N filter. But while this bike is not as fast as my 500 Magnum was the power is more usable & the torque that you really need for day-to-day riding is where it should be. Overall I am pleased with the power distribution and do not mind giving up a little bit on the top end.
