Default 1998 400 sportmans Vs. 2002 500HO Scrambler

My brother has the I think 98 could be 96-99 400, I have the 500HO Scrambler, I think he'll get me off the line then I'll pull him all the way to top what do a think?

Default 1998 400 sportmans Vs. 2002 500HO Scrambler

Stock to stock the 500 should take it .But if the 400 has any mods at all watch out.
I have had both and the 400 after I got it modded would run in the 68-72 mph range and my 02 500 Scrambler will only do 65-68. TRails you should beat him bad due the the old Sportsman handling and riding like a tank.

my srambeler 500 beat a 2004 sportsman 700 hands down he shode be abel to waest the 400

the 400L puts out about the same HP as a 700.
