Default Scrambler 500 Exhaust Question

o.k. guys...got a quick question...i recently added a Pro circut T4 full exhaust along with a K&N filter and Jets to my 05 scrambler....Rode it...everything is great...But it is loud as He!!...the pipe says it's tunable.....Does anyone know what that means....Can I get an insert or "tune" this pipe down a bit....I don't need to be heard a mile away.....Will i lose a substantial amout of power....and would I have to rejet???

Default Scrambler 500 Exhaust Question

Did it come with discs. Usually their are inserts that look like discs that you can put in. If you add some discs it will get quite and you will loose horse power. If you take away the discs it will get load and you will gain power. I think thats how it goes ¿

Hoped it helped

If it has discs like the White Bros,FMF or SuperTRapp you reduce the number of discs to quieten it down and this increases the lowend power.Adding discs opens up the exhaust making it louder but increasing the topend power.

I have an 05 scrammy and have been having a tough time finding aftermarket parts.... Did you notice a power gain? I was just going to order from RR.
