I seen the new duals and endcaps in the new hsp catalog. I like it and was wandering the cost and the horsepower and torque gains. And truthfully would it be an improvement over the Aaen i am running now? And what will the new ranger ecu do to my 800? Would it rev more with that ecu? Thanks

 

does UNI make an air filter for Polaris? and since i live in Bama and mainly ride swamps, mud, and brushy trails, do you think a K&N would work for me? I read stuff a/b them messing quads up if you have them in "dusty" conditions.... anyway im thinking a/b getting a Pure Polaris Pipe, Jet Kit, and K&N/UNI Air filter... And since i plan on getting an 800 EFI very soon, i am also very interested in the questiong Jordo is asking.. BUMP.

I like K&N a lot. If you do get it, get a water proof outerwear too. Do the hsp guys ever read this?

 

Will do. So K&N should work for me? I guess ill just skip the UNI.. and yes, usually they'll read it.. just need to keep BUMPing it up every now and then..

Yeah i wish i had some answers.

 

I just got a uni filter for my 800, Its looks like a well built filter. I see how it perform later. I had a K&N on it ,I wanted to try something else only reason i got the uni seems like the uni would stop more dust.

 

Where did you get you're UNi Air Filter from?? Did you get a prefilter or waterproofouterware??

You can get filters at rockymountain or denis kirk and your dealer most of the time. Bump

 

Jordo sorry for the delay, I answered in the hsp forums already too.

Our duals on the 800's perform about the same as the slip-on aaen offers and we offer. We have nticeda little bit better bottomeend if anything, the main differance is the sound not loud but deep and throaty big rumble or growl to it. The ranger xp ecu is for the ranger only nothing else. If you are looking fo rmore power you should consider our cam kit for the 800's it amek the bigget differance, you will ahve to change you cluthc weights to keep form hitting the rev limiter too.

 

I ordered my filter from rocky mountain, You will have to order filter oil cause your filter doesn't come with it, Which i thought that was dumb, filter is no good with out oil.
