well theres a used 2001 Polaris Sportsman 500 H.O. for sale at the dealer and theyre asking $4,000 for it and it has 295.6 miles on it right now and it has a winch and front and rear bumpers on it soo i was wondering if thats a good deal or should i try to get them lower? cuase my dads looking for a new hunting quad..and how reliable are they?? cause he thinks like all polarises suck and arnt reliable or powerful at all so if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated...and can you turn the milage back at all?? becasue my dads not sure if u can reset it or something cause of the low milage..thanks everyone

Becareful it is fairly easy to put a new speedo in them which restets the mileage to zero if it's a new speedo. However they are are reliable machines. I would try to get them lower and if that's the actual mileage it's a fair price. With that many miles it should look pretty close to new with a few scratches. Let us no how it turns out.

Dont go over $3500.All the add ons dont count for nothing when you trade one in why should the "stealer" make any more from them.
As for reliability the 500 Sportsman is as reliable if not more so than any Honda.Plus rides better
