Default keihin pwk 39

i have a keihin pwk in my 2002 scrambler 2 stroke. after 2 days of sitting it will not start unless i pull the top off the carb and prime it with a little fuel. i checked the float and valve-it seals. does anyone know why it may be doing this? or anyone know of a primer kit for this model? thanks so much for any help

Check you choke adjustment...it may not be adjusted right and not letting fuel into the starting circuit.

yes,the race version of the pwk have a pull choke button,at the left side of the carb, you have to remove your seat,
at warm up to choke it 2-3 time then it's gone, alot easier to use and less cable to steer at the handlebars, the only cable to use then is the trigger,i used both version and the race version pwk is more performance oriented as well
and lighter.

Just go to www.hpd-inc.com and buy the correct carb. It will be jetted close to the correct size and made just for your model.
