FALSE! big time mis-information. the 700EFI is an EXCELLENT, well-built, dependable ATV. i have owned many 700's since '02 and except for the first-year water pump leaks, they have been bullet-proof!

i'm not going to beat a dead horse on the new 500EFI's but the legendary quality of the 500's have gone down the drain with the introduction of the 500EFI.

as far as your tranny grinding comments, i have no idea what you are talking about. i owned a '99 SP500 and my tranny is SO MUCH BETTER on my 700 than my old '99. if anything, the '99 was cruede shifting.

anyways, enjoy whatever you ride bro..........and if you don't, replace it with something YOU will be happy with!

I just joined an ATV park called Budds Creek in the Maryland
area (1 1/2hr from my town) 22 miles of trail (300 acres)

Anyways I was talking to the owner he is real cool and big
advocate for Polaris and rents them for a good price for
those who want to experience the ride.

To the point, he has this burned up EFI polaris frame on
exhibit when I asked how it caught fire he said that
someone donated this to him and the story goes
that this person was doing rounds and rounds of
donuts for long period overheating the engine and
flooded the carb, something happened and it caught
fire cause with just doing donuts vs riding air could
not adequetly vett thru to cool things down.

Believeable or unlikel? I definately would not want to experiment
this but another disadvantage to EFi carb but how many
consider this as issues when buying? Those donut
enthusiasts maybe?
