My Yamaha WR426 (426 cc's) makes 48 HP. It's all in the design. High compression (12.5:1) Large Carburetors, bigger valves and High flow exhaust. and it redlines at 11,500 rpm.

The down side is the reliability and low-end torque is compromised. All though I have never had a problem with my bike.

i take it that you also work at a dealer as so do i . the last time i offered insight as to what i was told i was called a liar.... in the end i was right but i was also mislead by the factory rep. i really didnt expect him to tell me all he just fed me some scraps... as to what i have heard or what i have been told i will keep to myself.. its more fun seeing everyone post nonsense than be called a liar.....

Colt2245p, I agree with you. It's fun to see the post. What's also funny is how the DSM's act like they know something but only get hints and bits and pieces of the puzzle. Polaris doesn't tell them anything till the DSM ride defore the dealer show. (Most of the time) They will run and tell faster than word spreads on these threads if they knew. Sometimes knowing what is coming out next week is harder then not knowing. It's hard to post comments on speculations and guesses without slipping. And like you said, You do give a true hint or even act like you know, You are a bold face liar. ( I've been told to get off the crack pipe and i never left a hint.)

That's the thing tho, in the Dirt-bike world, the KTM 525 is widely reputed as the smoothest off-road motor ever. meaning lots of low end! Which of course says to me it could use some more cam, but maybe i'm just sick like that? oh well...

*still waiting... my board's F5 key is going to break come monday lol!
