Like I said in a earlier post, it won't suprise me to see just minor changes and thats it. They brought a lot of new stuff last year, so to expect a lot this year should not be a high priority. The Sportsman body style class is only 2 years old and the same with the sp800. I also don't expect the KTM merger to hit full kilt for at least another year. So don't be bummin if there isn't much for 07. Just look at the other makes, only Can-am did anything as far as new atv's. That Renagade should be awesome. Yammi with the new Grizz has some nice stuff, but for many it's a big dissapointment, especially for $8000, but the big bear and Gizz 350 with IRS should be a great seller. And none of the others brought anything to the table.

Well, we still have no clue whats going to happen. We have 4-5 more days to guess. How many dozens of people flow into these threads and say something like "Too bad, nothing this year"?? WAY TOO many, and alot of times there wrong. IF Polaris dosent release something that they have, it will ONLY be because no one else introduced anything (talking about utility) and, maybe they will keep the Outlaw the same, and create two new Predators. That wouldnt suprise me. And if the style changes at all on the utilites, mainly the 800, and i like it, then ill definatly get the '07, as well as if there are any weight changes. Keep hope alive. As i said, some things HAVE to change.

Just to chime in on this; I just can't help but believe if there were any major changes in store for the "07"s someone would have let it slip by now. I really don't believe the marketing folks at Polaris would allow the Bombadier/Can-Am news to grab the total spotlight for as long as it has if they really were planning something for the"07" model year. Time is running out quickly for this and yes I know that Polaris has been slow and secretive to some extent in years past, but there was always some hint or preview to keep the public hyped that I either don't see or have missed completely. I read most of the industry publications cover to cover every month. As stated before the KTM deal hasn't quite had time to mature yet. I really do believe patience here will pay off. Polaris may be very wise in thier timing at this point. Will the Bombadier/Can-Am machines have a strong enough market following and/or the dependability at their weight with the increased power levels to be effective and/or safe enough for more than just a handful of Pro-level riders? One has to remember that for a company to remain in business and be profitable it must know where the major market shares are and what the customer's true needs are vs. what the customer might think they need and then find out the product didn't fit the bill and you lose their repeat business. I know the people at Polaris remember Can-Am from the 70's and 80's. I remember them too. Owned them, loved them, won many races on them. Then they were gone. Will that happen again? Who could say? I just can't help but believe that Polaris may just be doing a very wise thing by allowing someone else to play first fiddle for awhile. Give the competition a chance to show you what they got, then go out next year with your best shot to one-up them according to feedback gathered during the previous year. Be patient if Polaris doesn't step up this year. They have the arsenal to compete with anything out there. Again I think they are doing right by not rushing to get new stuff out until it's really ready. That appears to be where the extent of the problems that Polaris has had in the past stem from and from what I've read on here I think most of you here would agree. Remember; as fast as time passes 2008 will be here in no time

i seem to remember that no one knew anything about the outlaw till they released it. and that was a revolutionary step for the atv industry. polaris has always been the front runner of atv innovations and ideas. maybe the other companies, like can-am are just in a rush to beat polairs to the punch.

... so im still thinking that something good will come from this years release. but they seem to keep secrets pretty well........so who knows....

ScramblerX, You may be right, but I just don't see it happening unless it's something like a mid-year (07.5) or something like that. There was that one time a long, long time ago though when I was wrong about something LOL
