Since we are just speculating as to what would be cool on the 2007's, try this on. Polaris has decided not to buy out KTM completely but maintains a 25% ownership in KTM. The have agreed on a partnership that will allow KTM to supply them with engines for the quads. KTM's are known for their awesome power and they recently launched a 950cc 98HP engine in an enduro bike that has a lot more in common with motocross than enduro. The bike is primarily for their european market where they are strongest but 500 of them will be sold in the USA. Now suppose for a minute that they where to put this in their Sportsman line up and create a 950cc quad. That would really redefine the 4x4 market. I mean no manufacturer is making more than 60 or so horsepower anyway's right? This would be a ton of fun against a Can Am 800.

 

I would love that more than anything. However, since the g@y 800cc barier thing is there, that will more than likely not happen. I would love to see that engine in a Ranger. 2007 Polaris Ranger XP 950cc. That would be awesome. I just want them to bump it up more than what they have now. Does anyone know if we will see whats coming out or not tonite?

What 800cc barrier? I am not familiar with that in ATV's. That happened when I was into Sea Doos and Jet Ski's. They capped the prodution units at 70MPH and then started going backwards in top speed.

Yeah, the Polaris Sportsman 800 thats out right now is actually 760cc, so what almost all of us are hoping for is that they come out with a true 800cc H.O. for '07... But yes, there is an 800cc limit. If you're ATV is above the limit, you will not be able to ride in public ATV parks etc.. So that keeps the ATV manufactuers engines 800cc or below.

yea j,j you get dirty. the fenders dont protect you from the mud. they stick out about 11/2" beyond the fender. i think they were 685.00. i got the type 7 rims. i almost think the black would look better on your camo but thats just me.

Yeah, im not sure if some things are going to be released tonite or not. But Monday is for sure.

Stendori, im not sure what tire im going to go with, i've had such great luck with the 589's that i might get another pair. So it'll be 589's, Mudlite XL's or XTR's.. And with whatever tire i go with, i think ill go with the Type 4 Series Black, because ITP dosent offer any other good solid black rim's. The Type 7's black dosent look good because it still has the silver lining IMO.. Anyway, all these tires should fit without any rubbing right?
