Hypocrites, all whining about how Polaris get's a bad shake so go ahead you dismiss anything that surpasses your bikes as unimpressive at best.

It's true! I have had many Bombi 8's blast past me in the drag races. The power is unreal.
However I am able to level the playing field by having to wait on the Bombi boys when we are riding thru the trails.
Horsepower vs Suspension.......The choice is yours.

Other than CC, plastics, and EFI what are the differences from a 2004 sportsman to a new 700, or 800 sportsman? Did they change the frame, or suspension at all?

Ohh Yeah...I put 36 inch tiers on mine and added a new V8 400HP motor....Ohh wait thats the Jeep. Come on guys a 400cc is took much some times in a trail. Quit braggaing and start riding. Have fun and get home safe, who care how big how fast or mines better?

see ya.

Got to agree with Paul here. Lots of vehicles are capable of 80+ MPH on flat dry paved roads. My Toyota pickup will do that in third gear with it's well broken in 4 cylinder engine, but there's no way it could hang with my 700efi out on the trails I ride even if they are wide enough and even though the Toyota has an aftermarket hi-po suspension kit under it. If we're going to debate top speeds down flat paved roads, a short wheel-based ATV of any brand is not going to be my vehicle of choice by no means. 20-30 MPH over rough terrain proves more to me about a machines durability and value than doing something that I can do all day out on the interstate in the family sedan without even having think much about it; But , to each his own I guess.

We are all buddies here, sure it is fun to harp on your friends who have different quads, but if our favorite ATV company dissapeard I am sure we would find another one to enjoy.

Ive never seen a stock ute do past 72mph. Ever. 80 is unbelievable. Also, if everyone is concerned about how fast it will go, they might as well shut down all the mud holes, scenic trails, rocky challenges, and snowy hills, and open up some Interstate ATV highways so we can enjoy a nice long straight 50 mile flat run, now that would be fun! same as when I was young bloke and had an E Type Jag and every bloke would ask how fast it went

I would say "dunno, I only bought it to get the girls interested"

cant see top speed on ATV meaning anything at all [well unless you are doing 200 KPH on the beach, with Bill Gates assistance as below - lol]
