My riding group finally did the ride we've been contemplating for a couple of years.

We ride every Friday night and typically do about 20/30 miles. We've been talking about going all-the-way-down-to-the-Cape-Cod-Canal......It's a haul.

With summer here we've been working our way further down and getting familiar with the route. Last Friday was a beautiful night and we said....."let's do it!"

Six of us left at 8:00 PM and we got back at 4:00 AM. Mileage was almost exactly 50 miles. I'm absolutely certain we could have made it quicker........but we're in no hurry and we take some 1/2 hour and 45 minute breaks to shoot-the-shat.

this sounds really great and one day I am going to get up early and do a video with lights on and dawn breaking while riding down the beach

so I have to say "I think I'm going back to Massachusetts"

 

Sounds like fun. I've never done a night ride. Sounds like a great time was had by all.

Yes.....It was a great ride. 85% of my riding is at night....it's better than day riding.
