been usig castrol syntec in the engine and trans on my two machines FOREVER, the 425 has 5000 miles, not one engine or trans problem, the 700 has 2700 miles no problems. The Wix filter # is 51357. Mobile one will be fine in the engine and tranny.

Use Mobile one MX4T made just for Motorcycles and ATV. It's syntheic and has no Moley. It's great stuff. check out there web site. I wouldn't use mobile 1 made for cars.

It's not the same oil. Car oil is not made for High reving enignes and Breaks down way sooner. Ive done some testing myself and if you check the color after draining reg oil it's already dark and dirty compared to MX4T it still looks like it just came out of the bottle. Just my opinion, take no offense

No offence taken, just giving more opinions.
Like your 450, my bike revs to the moon. The Gold cap is a 15,000-mile oil. I change it about every 500 in my bike, I think I’m safe at half the price.
I really don’t think you need a motorcycle oil in a Utility quad with an automatic.
I suppose I could open a new can of worms by saying that on my O-Ring chains (bike and quads) I only use WD-40. 2000 miles and my chains are still in great shape and I ride in mud, sand, and creeks.

You don't need to grease O-ring chains. As far as using the WD-40 as long as it states for your particular chain that it's ok to use on it. Or it could be you've been lucky all this time. WD-40 will eat the seals on some O-ring chains and is stated not to use it on the DS's 530 chain. just my .02¢

Here we go again. Your right your o-ring chain does not require any oil or grease, BUT you need to lube it so friction does not wear down the SPROCKET from contact from chain.

Over 2000 miles on my bike, original chain and sprockets. They have no wear using WD-40 from day one.
Look at this thread, make your own decision.
