?????????????
Okie, I think he meant me instead of you . I'm just messing with him cause I'm bored and don't have anything else to do right now. Most of it's probably going over his head anyway. It takes a pretty bright person to make the statement he made in his first sentence. Maybe he'll soon figure out that most everyone on here knows better than that and are wondering about his mentality.

If you try to pull a totally stuck quad out from a dead stop with any machine you will have a problem. You should extricate it with a winch or use a ****** strap which is a tow strap with elasticity so you get a short running start and the strap bulds energy and yanks the stuck quad out. You will have no problem dragging a moose wih a 500, it has no where near the resistance of a buried quad. My girlfriend has a honda 450es and it will not tow as much as my 500HO. I have hooked my double wide snowmobile trailer with 2 sleds on it and pulled it many times with no issues. Basically use a winch for a totally buried quad or buy a ****** strap.

If you have a burned spot on the belt you will probably feel a thump/vibration as the worn area rotates against the drive pulley.

Ok BP01, No hard feelings. We have gear reductions on our Polaris' also. It's call low range. It either pulls what it's attached to,pushes what is in front of it, or sits and spins all 4 tires. Simple as that.

Thanks for the info guys, I'll try it this year stock and hopefully we can draw a tag. Bear hunting is in a couple of weeks so we'll have a little test.

Has anyone tried heel clicker clutch kits or similiar mods?

Thanks again,
Mike

Also remember when pulling, hit the throttle HARD!!!! Don't ease into it slowly (Straight from the owners manual) Any clutch kit will help, never had expirience with a heel clicker but my Aaen kit works wonders

Ha, ha, ha. I pulled out a 660 Grizz on Sunday. It was burried up past the exhaust pipe which makes a cool gargling sound while running under water/mud. I was really pissed I left the camera at home this time!

haha its always fun pullin out Grizmo's ... but as far as the belts go u should always have one on ya i snaped 2 with in the matter of 2 days to my amazement the warrenty wouldent cover the 2nd belt lol... i snaped my fist belt in a mud bogg n had a 450 foreman pull me back ..... well i never heard the end of it ... so i always have an extra belt on board.. but for low torque manouvers use low range ... i can always tell if i had 2 many beer n try to perform ya can smell the clutch..
