What are the cost diffences between using a polaris filter and oil vs. say the napa filter and mobil 1?

 

Pure One PL 14610 ($5.99) crosses to a AC Delco PF 2057, better filter for $3.69 IMO.
the AC has an anti drain back and relief valve.
You can look in the cross ref part number book at the stores for this info or online as I did for the AC.
Usually if they cross ref another filter it will have the same features.

I don't know about the others for sure, but what you have to watch for is does it have a backflow on it etc? Anti-drain back valve.

In other words, when you shut off the bike with a Polaris filter (and some other filter's) the oil stays in the filter.
But with the Fram filter the oil drains out of the filter when you shut it off.


The mobil 1 and polaris filters are about $10-13.
Pure 1 $6, AC $4
Super Tech (Walmart) $2.
