I dropped the Xplorer off last night[5pm] at the dealership to have the chain/sprockets and right side outter tie rod replaced, all at Polaris expense.

I was cruising the highway today coming from an appointment around noon and the cell phone went off,it was the freaking dealer telling me to come in and pick up the quad,it was ALL DONE!

I arrived, and saw the shinny new chain/sprockets and tie rod end installed,I have to tell ya,THIS IS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE.

And to back that up,I bent something on the quad that was my fault,Steve [ dealership mechanic] told me he COULD also get that covered under the EXTENDED warrenty for me.Man,whats gotton in to this guy?Anyways,Im very happy and im not used to this type of speedy CUSTOMER service.Im allways bitchin about the slow service,so I thought it was only right to praise the fast service to,
Bill

Now that is the way you keep customers and that makes them money. To bad other dealerships don,t follow there lead.

That is how my dealer is, fast he never takesinm ore than he can do, like my snowmobiles he said bring them in next tuesday he he will have them done the next morning, he will. Unlike some places that say yeah bring them in then they just sit there when they have no plans to touch them for weeks.( I think they do that so they can guarentee there money, you won't change your mind and take them somewhere else) He always calls me if anything is up he never fixes it then tells me later. Very cool dealer. All dealers need to come watch him in action see how to do it right.

It's nice to see there are dealers out there like that. It took me quite a while to find a dealer that would either get me in right away or make an appointment. It seemed like everyone I would call was backed up for weeks and they wouldn't take appointments. They just expect you to drop your machine off and let it "sit" until they get to it. This happened this past summer with my boat. It had a very minor problem that still allowed me to use it. In order to get it looked at, though, I would have had to bring it in that day to a dealer that was many weeks behind. I wasn't about to let it be out of service and gather dust for a month before they would even look at it. Finally I found a dealer that made an appointment for me to bring it in. Why are there so many dealers out there unwilling to make appointments. For their service sides, it is one of the best ways to create customer service.
Thanks for letting me vent.

All dealers could learn from this one no matter what brand off ATV they sale. A "GOOD" dealer is hard to find. Its nice to know a few still exist.

We took my wife's TrailBoss in to the dealer for the oil-line recall. The parts took over a month to get in, but I dropped it off on Monday, and they called me Tuesday to say it was done. Kinda scares you a little when it goes that fast, doesn't it?

Glad you're back, Bill... Didn't know you were even gone. Like that time I rolled back down the hill on the KQ and you guys were lookin' for me... No! I guess it wasn't that good. Anyway, I didn't get the extended warranty but then my dealer is in Ohio, about 65 miles away. And I don't get to ride as much as you but you just wait. In 16 months I'll have more free time. Then I may need a good dealer to warranty me... Hey! Lets switch quads for about a month...
Chuck, Suzuki KQ 300, GPS & lunch...
